About the role
The QA Intern position offers an opportunity to join a software engineering team and gain practical experience in quality assurance, automated testing, and AI technologies. The intern will be involved in real-world API-based software projects, performing comprehensive testing across API and UI layers, and working with modern QA automation frameworks. Responsibilities include preparing and executing test cases, supporting API and UI testing, developing automated test scripts using Python and Playwright, and collaborating with team members to ensure software reliability. The role emphasizes learning and applying AI-driven QA tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Must have
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferably a 3rd-year undergraduate student.
- Good understanding of QA and software testing fundamentals.
- Test case design and test execution
- Defect reporting and tracking
- Functional and regression testing
- Software development and testing life cycle
- Basic API concepts and testingBasic programming knowledge, preferably in Python.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to clearly communicate testing results, defects, questions, and technical observations.
- Able to work effectively with team members in a collaborative environment.
Nice to have
- Interest in or exposure to Playwright, SoapUI, or test automation is an advantage.
- Basic understanding or strong interest in AI tools and AI-assisted productivity.
