Founding General Manager | SaaS GTM & Operations
About the role
Oral Connect, an AI-powered SaaS platform for dental practices, is establishing a Colombo-based GTM & Operations Hub to support its UK launch and growth. The Founding General Manager will work closely with the UK founder to lead the Sri Lankan operation, translating commercial priorities into actionable plans, building and managing the local team, and overseeing delivery across product, marketing, sales, and customer success. The role involves coordinating a team of developers, recruiting and developing the GTM team, executing partnership launches, building operational processes, tracking progress, and working with legal and commercial counsel.
Must have
- Experience independently building or managing a team across multiple business functions in a startup, SaaS or technology business.
- Strong commercial judgement, technical fluency and confidence coordinating software delivery with an engineering lead.
- Hands-on hiring, project management and operational execution experience.
- Excellent English communication and ability to work closely with UK stakeholders.
- Ownership, sound prioritisation and willingness to work at the pace of an early-stage business.
