Intern IoT Engineer
About the role
Quantix Global is seeking an Intern IoT Engineer to join their on-site team in Pelawatta, Sri Lanka. The role involves assisting in building and testing interactive robots and IoT devices using platforms such as ESP32, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi. The intern will write and debug device firmware, connect devices to cloud platforms, collaborate with the backend team for integration with web applications, and document designs and test results. Candidates should be pursuing or have recently completed a relevant degree and have hands-on experience with IoT projects and programming in C/C++ or Python.
Must have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Electronics or a related field from a recognized university
- Studied IoT and built IoT projects
- Hands-on experience with Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi
- Programming skills in C/C++ or Python
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude

- Knowledge of PHP (Laravel)
