Senior Manager - Cybersecurity Operations
About the role
The Senior Manager - Cybersecurity Operations is responsible for leading and managing cybersecurity incidents, overseeing security operations and threat management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. The role involves coordinating incident response, conducting root cause analysis, supporting threat detection and intelligence initiatives, and driving proactive cybersecurity measures. The manager will also lead security awareness programs, promote a strong cybersecurity culture, and provide strategic leadership across information security operations. The position requires collaboration with various teams and preparation of executive-level reports. The company, InTalent Asia, is recruiting for a client in the Information Technology / Cybersecurity sector based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Security Operations, Risk Management, or related domains.
- Strong experience leading Security Operations, Incident Response, and Information Security Governance functions.
- Proven expertise in security incident management and cyber risk mitigation.
- Strong understanding of threat management, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity operations.
- Experience supporting GDPR compliance and information security governance frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of information security standards, frameworks, and industry best practices.
Nice to have
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
- Other advanced cybersecurity, governance, or risk management certifications will be an advantage.
