Intern - Smart Device Management
About the role
Abans PLC is seeking an intern to assist with the day-to-day operations of the Abans Smart Pay Mobile Phone Locking System. The role involves supporting device lock and unlock requests, basic system troubleshooting, coordinating with service centres and internal teams, and assisting with device enrolment, resets, replacements, and IMEI verification. The intern will also respond to customer and showroom inquiries, update system records, and help prepare operational reports. Candidates should be pursuing or have completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field, possess basic knowledge of mobile devices and IT systems, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and communication skills. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a leading consumer durables company in Sri Lanka.
Must have
- Completed or currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of mobile devices, IT systems, and troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively.
