DevOps Intern
About the role
Cambio is seeking a DevOps Intern to join their software research and development center in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The intern will be responsible for supporting the configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of core DevOps services, as well as assisting with CI/CD pipeline management. The role involves automating workflows, scripting, evaluating and implementing DevOps tools, and documenting internal processes, all under mentorship. Candidates should be pursuing a relevant degree and have foundational knowledge in UNIX/Linux, SQL, RDBMS, and scripting. The position offers an opportunity to learn and grow within a team developing cutting-edge healthcare solutions.
Must have
- Should have knowledge in UNIX/Linux, SQL and RDBMS
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g. Python, Bash etc.)
- Ability to communicate clearly and in English
- Commitment and desire to rapidly learn new concepts and technologies
- Strong team collaboration with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently on BAU (Business as Usual) tasks with guidance and mentorship from senior team members.
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or a Software Engineering degree from a recognized/accredited university
Nice to have
- Knowledge in Cloud technologies would be an added advantage
- Knowledge in CI/CD processes will be an additional advantage
