IT Manager
About the role
The IT Manager at Island Xpress (Pvt) Ltd. will lead IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology systems across the company's courier and logistics operations. Key responsibilities include overseeing IT infrastructure, managing IT teams, ensuring smooth operation of courier management systems, maintaining cybersecurity, and coordinating with vendors. The role requires a bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, at least 7 years of relevant experience (with 5 years in IT management), and strong knowledge in networking, server administration, and cloud infrastructure. Must have
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant IT experience, including at least 5 years in an IT management role.
- Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure and system integrations.
- Experience with courier management systems, barcode technology, shipment-tracking systems and multi-branch IT operations will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in managing IT teams and projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel to branches and distribution centers when required.
