Senior General Manager / Change & Delivery Lead (Finance Transformation)
About the role
The Senior General Manager / Change & Delivery Lead (Finance Transformation) will be responsible for leading large-scale finance transformation programs within the Life Insurance sector. This role involves overseeing end-to-end transformation initiatives, acting as the primary change lead for Insurance, Wealth & Retirement projects, and ensuring operational excellence and strong governance across finance operations. The position requires partnering with senior stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements, automation, and transformation opportunities, while championing a high-performance team culture and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in finance transformation and program management within the Life Insurance industry, with a strong understanding of relevant accounting, reporting, and regulatory environments.
Must have
- Proven experience in Finance Transformation, Program Management, or Transformation Delivery within the Life Insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of: Life Insurance Accounting & Reporting, Finance and Actuarial Operations, UK Finance & Insurance Regulatory Environment
- Demonstrated expertise in: Cost Optimization Initiatives, Process Improvement Programs, Automation & Digital Transformation, Operating Model Transformation
Nice to have
- Working closely with CFOs, Finance Leadership Teams, FP&A, PMO, Risk, and Audit functions.
- Leading client-facing transformation engagements in complex global organizations.
- Driving measurable business outcomes through strategic change initiatives.
