Senior Full Stack Engineer
About the role
Complete Smiles is seeking two senior full-stack engineers to join their in-house technology team on a 3-week contract, with the possibility of ongoing work for strong performers. The role involves working on a large existing codebase, handling production integrations with third-party APIs, building reliable background processing systems, and working with technologies such as React, Next.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL. The company values experience in SaaS, CRM, healthcare, or privacy-sensitive data environments, as well as familiarity with Python or AI/LLM features. The position is full-time, remote, and requires immediate availability.
Must have
- 6+ years of professional software engineering, with recent senior-level work
- Strong TypeScript or JavaScript, with production experience in React and Next.js
- Strong PostgreSQL: schema design, migrations and query performance. Supabase experience is a plus.
- Production integrations with third-party APIs and webhooks, such as payment, messaging or communication platforms (for example Meta, Twilio or Stripe)
- Experience building reliable background processing: queues, retries and handling duplicate events
- Comfortable working in a large existing codebase with code review, CI and automated tests

Highlights
