About the role
The Associate Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for performing manual testing to ensure software quality and functionality. The role involves identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs, preparing and executing test cases based on business requirements, and conducting regression, functional, and system testing. The successful candidate will collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve issues and verify bug fixes before product release. Applicants should have a degree or equivalent in IT or Computer Science, a basic understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC, and strong analytical and communication skills.
Must have
- Degree or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with test case preparation, bug reporting, and defect tracking.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
