Associate Project Manager
About the role
The Associate Project Manager role is focused on coordinating and executing projects within the banking sector. The position requires hands-on involvement in project planning, tracking, and delivery, as well as strong coordination with stakeholders and customers. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional and technical teams, ensuring project scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies are well managed. The role is based onsite in Sri Lanka and is suitable for individuals with a background in project management or coordination, particularly those with experience in banking technology or transformation projects.
Must have
- 3+ years of Project Management / Project Coordination experience
- Hands-on experience in project planning, tracking and delivery
- Strong stakeholder & customer coordination skills
- Experience working with cross-functional / technical teams
- Good understanding of project scope, timelines, risks & dependencies
- Strong communication, documentation & reporting skills
- Immediate availability preferred
Nice to have
- Banking domain experience – Preferred
- Experience with Banking technology / transformation projects – Preferred
- PMP / CAPM certification – Added advantage
