AI Engineer
About the role
VS ONE WORLD is seeking passionate and hands-on AI Engineers with at least 2 years of experience to join their engineering team. The role involves designing and developing Generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG, and AI agents, as well as building real-time conversational AI solutions that support voice, text, and multilingual interactions. Key responsibilities include implementing AI orchestration, conversation management, knowledge retrieval, backend integrations, and developing streaming AI workflows. The position also requires optimizing AI systems for performance and cost efficiency, and implementing AI testing and monitoring. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. The company offers the opportunity to work on innovative AI-powered products involving intelligent agents and advanced conversational experiences.
Must have
- Design and develop Generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
- Build real-time conversational AI solutions supporting voice, text, and multilingual interactions.
- Implement AI orchestration, conversation management, knowledge retrieval, and backend integrations.
- Develop streaming AI workflows with speech processing, turn-taking, and session management.
- Implement AI testing, evaluation, guardrails, and production monitoring.
- Optimise AI systems for low latency, concurrency, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- 2 years of Hands-on AI Engineering Experience (AI Project Experience during internship also counts)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence,
- Data Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

- Strong Python development, REST APIs, and backend integration
- AI agents, tool/function calling, and workflow orchestration
- Speech / Conversational AI - STT, TTS, VAD, WebRTC, and audio streaming
- Multi-turn conversations, session context, memory, and turn-taking
- Multilingual & multimodal AI - text, audio, and speech processing
- AI evaluation, guardrails, observability, latency, scalability, and cost optimisation
- Git, automated testing, debugging, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), and third-party AI integration
