About the role
The Software Developer position in Colombo involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. The role requires developing scalable and efficient solutions based on business requirements, writing clean and well-documented code, troubleshooting and enhancing existing applications, collaborating with developers and stakeholders, participating in code reviews, and staying updated with industry best practices. Candidates should have a relevant degree or diploma and 2-3 years of proven experience in software development, along with strong programming, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in software development, preferably in a software development role.
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of software development principles and SDLC.
- Experience with relevant programming languages, frameworks, and databases.
- Knowledge of Git/version control systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
