SAP B1 - Senior Consultant
About the role
The SAP B1 - Senior Consultant role at Acentura is a full-time position based in Colombo. The consultant will be responsible for leading end-to-end ERP implementation projects, with a focus on SAP Business One (SAP B1). Key responsibilities include requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, configuration, customization, data migration, integrations, and providing post-go-live support. The role also involves preparing functional specifications, collaborating with technical teams, and managing client and stakeholder relationships. Candidates should have significant hands-on experience with SAP B1 and expertise in relevant business modules such as Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
Must have
- 7+ years of ERP consulting / implementation experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1)
- Expertise in Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory & Manufacturing modules
- Experience managing end-to-end ERP implementation projects
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, gap analysis & solution design
- Experience with SAP B1 configuration, customization, data migration & integrations
- Hands-on experience with UAT, testing, deployment & post-go-live support
- Ability to prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams
- Strong client-facing, stakeholder management & problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL, Crystal Reports, SAP B1 add-ons & integrations is an added advantage
- SAP Business One / ERP certifications and industry-specific experience are a plus
