Associate QA Lead (Full stack)

The Associate Quality Engineering Lead (Full stack) role involves leading both manual and automated testing efforts across UI, API, backend data validation, CI/CD pipelines, performance testing, and system integration testing. The position requires designing and executing comprehensive test scenarios, building and maintaining automation frameworks, conducting performance and load testing, and collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in both manual and automated QA, strong coding skills in C#/.NET or Java and TypeScript/JavaScript, and a proven track record in system integration testing and data validation. Must have
- 5+ years of overall QA experience with strong exposure to both manual testing and automation.
- Strong hands-on experience in UI and API automation testing.
- Practical coding experience in C#/.NET or Java, together with TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Experience testing REST and GraphQL APIs using tools or frameworks such as REST Assured, Postman, or native HTTP client libraries.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data testing.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries to validate calculations, data transformations, reporting outputs, and backend data.
- Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Experience with platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Experience using Jira-based test management tools such as Xray, Zephyr, or TestRail.
- Strong experience executing end-to-end System Integration Testing (SIT) across multiple squads.
- Ability to validate shared APIs, services, data flows, and system dependencies.
- Experience working directly with engineers during defect investigation and triage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
