Intern - Database

About the role

As a Database intern at Fortude, you will contribute to database administration, deployment, monitoring, and ensuring continuous compliance with the database platform. Key responsibilities include documenting development, testing, and production changes of databases, assisting with database backups and upgrades, supporting basic database administrator operations, troubleshooting issues, and generating reports. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, along with knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Database Systems and tools, and familiarity with database systems, SQL programming, and query concepts. Behavioral competencies such as communication, teamwork, client orientation, results orientation, analytical ability, and decision making are also expected.
