About the role
The Head of Information Technology & Information Security will provide strategic direction for the organization's technology landscape, ensuring alignment between business objectives and IT capabilities. The role involves leading IT strategy, overseeing core systems, driving digital transformation, ensuring IT governance, monitoring performance, managing risk, and strengthening cybersecurity. The position requires strong collaboration with external technology partners and service providers, as well as providing guidance to the Board and management. The company is a well-established finance company regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, seeking a senior leader to drive digital transformation and robust cybersecurity.
Must have
- Degree in IT / Computer Science / Information Systems or related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 10–15 years' experience in IT leadership, preferably within financial services in a leadership role.
- Strong exposure to IT governance, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and board-level reporting experience.
