QA Engineer
About the role
The QA Engineer will be responsible for planning and executing various types of testing, including functional, system, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing. The role involves creating detailed test plans, scenarios, and documentation, as well as preparing test documents for web and mobile applications. Candidates must understand business models and provide valuable input to developers, assist with requirements and technical documents, and ensure accuracy and attention to detail. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent qualification, and at least 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. The company is a leading cash-on-delivery service with a wide branch network, offering an attractive remuneration package.
Must have
- Planning & executing functional / system testing, regression testing performance testing and user acceptance testing.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans, design testing scenarios for usability testing, design test cases and create testing related documentation. Involve in integration test designs, and execute integration tests in addition.
- Exposure to agile scrum testing methodologies.
- Preparing test documents and testing in Web and Mobile applications.
- Understanding and capturing business models, operating methodologies in detail to define desired outcomes and provide valued inputs to developers
- Assisting with requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback and ensure accuracy and high-level attention to detail when completing all tasks.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent Professional qualification.
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Nice to have
- A software testing Certification (ISTQB) will be an added advantage.
