Lead Systems Engineer
About the role
SriLankan Airlines is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to drive the airline's digital transformation strategy, focusing on enhancing digital experiences for users and maintaining a global customer base. The role involves leading the adoption of new digital technologies such as cloud, analytics, IoT, machine learning, and AI, as well as coordinating with internal teams and vendors to evolve digital platforms and capabilities. The position requires developing strategies, identifying digitalization opportunities, and acting as a change agent to deliver agile solutions. Applicants must have a relevant degree or professional qualification and experience, be a Sri Lankan citizen, and meet the specified age limit. Employment is on a fixed-term contract basis.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree*in relevant field from a recognized University with minimum of 04 years post qualifying Relevant Experience (* Engineering, Computer Science, General Science with Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Applied Statistics etc.)
- OR Full professional qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 07 with 06 years post qualifying experience in a relevant discipline.
- Be a Sri Lankan citizen.
- The upper age limit should be 35 years as of 26th September 2026, which is the closing date.
