About the role
The company is seeking Senior Quality Engineers to join their teams and contribute to quality assurance processes. The role involves creating and enhancing test cases, providing feedback to junior team members, reviewing requirements, producing test artifacts, debugging issues, and collaborating closely with development teams. The position also includes responsibilities for establishing and improving overall quality engineering processes. Candidates should have a strong background in software testing, automated testing tools, and quality engineering methodologies, as well as experience with relevant tools and programming concepts.
Must have
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or an equivalent qualification
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience in software testing
- Experience in test planning, test design, and functionality testing
- Expert knowledge of quality engineering methodologies, automated testing tools (Selenium/Appium), and continuous integration systems
- Experience in QE tools such as QMetry, HP ALM, JIRA, and Confluence
- Strong Knowledge of Java, OOP concepts and coding standards
- Must be killed at evaluating existing processes and procedures and making recommendations for improvement; designing proof of concepts that best fit company needs
- A solid practical understanding of Agile Software Testing and Software Engineering concepts
- Effective communication (oral and written) skills including problem-solving, prioritizing, and interpersonal relationship building
- A thirst for learning and regularly updating knowledge
- The ability to work independently and maintain good relationships with the team member
