Network & System Administrator
About the role
The Network and Systems Administrator is responsible for assessing, designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT systems for MSTI Maritime Academy (Pvt) Ltd. The role involves managing the corporate network, collaborating with clients and vendors, ensuring quality standards, and providing IT support for all installed systems and infrastructure. Candidates should have experience in systems administration, a relevant degree, and strong technical skills in server, network, and security administration. The position offers the opportunity to work in a maritime-focused educational environment.
Must have
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Systems Administration.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Working experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux-based environments.
- Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching and network security).
Nice to have
- CCNA, CCNP, and MCP certifications are an added advantage.
