ERP Functional Consultant – Sage X3
About the role
The Sage X3 Functional Consultant will be responsible for managing end-to-end ERP implementation, enhancement, and support projects, focusing on Sage X3. The role involves leading and participating in Sage X3 projects, conducting requirement-gathering workshops, performing business process and gap analysis, configuring modules, preparing functional specifications, supporting data migration, coordinating testing, conducting end-user training, and providing post-go-live support. The consultant will work closely with customers, project managers, technical consultants, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Candidates should have 3–7+ years of ERP functional consulting experience with strong hands-on knowledge of Sage X3 and experience in at least two or more Sage X3 modules such as Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Distribution, or Manufacturing. Experience in the complete ERP implementation lifecycle and strong analytical and client-facing skills are required. The position is remote and full-time.
Must have
- 3–7+ years of ERP functional consulting experience, with strong hands-on experience in Sage X3.
- Experience in at least two or more Sage X3 modules, preferably: Finance & Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Distribution, Manufacturing.
- Experience in complete ERP implementation lifecycle from requirements gathering through go-live and support.
- Strong understanding of business processes and ERP best practices.
- Experience preparing BRD, functional specifications, process flows, test scripts, and training documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently with customers.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Sage X3 certification is an advantage.
- Experience with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and regional localization requirements is preferred.
- Experience working with Manufacturing, Trading, Distribution, Retail, or Services organizations in the UAE/GCC would be an advantage.
