Information And Communications Technology Lecturer
About the role
Thakral Global Learning is seeking an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Lecturer to design, deliver, and evaluate ICT training programs for learners in the Western Province, Sri Lanka. The role is full-time and on-site, involving the preparation of lesson plans and course materials, classroom and lab-based teaching, learner assessment, and providing guidance and feedback. The Lecturer will also collaborate with other trainers, contribute to curriculum development, and support initiatives to enhance training quality and learner engagement. Candidates should have strong ICT knowledge, skills in curriculum design and instructional delivery, and experience with digital learning tools.
Must have
- Candidates should possess strong ICT domain knowledge in areas such as computer systems, networks, software applications, and emerging technologies.
- Candidates should possess skills in curriculum design, lesson planning, and instructional delivery for adult and vocational learners.
- Candidates should possess skills in learner assessment, feedback, and the use of digital tools and learning platforms to support training.
- Candidates should possess communication, presentation, and classroom management skills that foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, ICT Education, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Prior experience as a lecturer, trainer, or instructor in ICT or related disciplines is highly beneficial.
- Industry certifications (e.g., networking, cybersecurity, software development) are an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively, adapt teaching to diverse learning needs, and stay current with ICT trends and best practices.
