Intern - Internal Development
About the role
This internship at Deloitte Sri Lanka is for the Internal Development team, offering hands-on exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, SQL, SAP, and internal application development. The intern will work closely with experienced team members to support digital solutions, data analytics, process improvements, and internal technology initiatives. Key responsibilities include supporting the development and maintenance of Power Apps/Power Platform solutions, developing Power BI dashboards, supporting SQL-based data extraction and analysis, documenting business requirements, supporting UAT and application testing, and providing basic Level 1 support for internal applications and SAP. Candidates should be proactive, dynamic, self-motivated, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Must have
- Undergraduate or recent graduate in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of SQL and an interest in Power Platform and Power BI
- Good analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Willingness to learn and work across both business and technology areas
- Availability for a 6-month or 1-year internship, with 1 year preferred
