Senior Associate, FX Service Operations
About the role
The Senior Associate, FX Service Operations at LSEG is responsible for ensuring the stable and efficient operation of the company's FX trading platforms throughout the global trading lifecycle. The role involves proactive monitoring, pre-market readiness, and early identification of issues to ensure platforms are fully operational before each regional market opens. Key responsibilities include conducting system validations, incident management, stakeholder communication, and driving improvements in operational checks and automation. The position operates within the FX Operational Support team, which is part of the broader FX Service Delivery function, and works closely with Technology, Product, and Client Services teams to maintain operational stability and deliver high-quality service to clients. The role is based at LSEG Technology in Malabe and operates on a rotational shift basis to support global business operations.
Must have
- Experience in application support, operations, or technical client service within financial services
- Strong understanding of financial markets (FX preferred)
- Proven ability to perform proactive monitoring, issue identification, and stakeholder communication
- Strong knowledge of incident, problem, and escalation processes
- Ability to work in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of: FIX Protocol, SQL, Networking, Wireshark, SFTP
- ITSM tools and advanced Excel
- Strong team player with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Adaptable and open to change with a positive mindset
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and contribute to team development
- Ability to mentor others and act as a role model
