Intern Software Engineer (PHP Laravel)
About the role
InBizSys is seeking a motivated Intern Software Engineer (PHP Laravel) to join their team in Athurugiriya, Sri Lanka. The role involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining web applications and ERP modules using PHP, Laravel, and Livewire, as well as working with REST APIs and MySQL databases. The intern will collaborate with experienced developers and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions and participate in debugging, testing, and continuous improvement of applications. Candidates should be in their final semester or recently graduated in a relevant field and possess strong practical knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and related technologies.
Must have
- Currently in the final semester of, or recently graduated from, a recognized university with a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong practical knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and Livewire.
- Good understanding of MySQL and relational database concepts.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of Node.js.
