Security Operations Center Analyst/ Executive Analyst - TDR
About the role
The Executive Analyst – TDR / SOC Analyst will join a leading cybersecurity service provider's Security Operations Center (SOC) team in Colombo 05. The role involves monitoring and managing cybersecurity threats, handling security alerts, conducting incident investigations, and responding to incidents at L1/L2 levels. Key responsibilities include triaging alerts, analyzing incidents, managing security cases, collecting evidence, escalating complex issues, and maintaining documentation. The position requires working 12-hour shifts on a 4 days on / 4 days off rotation, providing extended breaks between shifts. Candidates should have relevant experience in SOC or cybersecurity operations and be familiar with security monitoring platforms.
Must have
- 1–2 years of experience in SOC, TDR, cybersecurity operations, or related L1/L2 security roles.
- Experience handling cybersecurity threats, security alerts, or incidents.
- Experience in L1/L2 SOC operations is highly preferred.
- Exposure to remote or in-house security monitoring environments.
- Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR/XSOAR, EDR, or other security monitoring platforms.
- Cybersecurity-related degree or qualification.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications/qualifications as specified in the JD.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a 12-hour shift-based environment.

Highlights
The role is strictly onsite in Colombo 05 and follows a 12-hour shift pattern (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 4 days on and 4 days off. Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply. The salary package is LKR 150,000 – 180,000. Candidates must be able to work in a shift-based environment.
