Senior Operations Specialist
About the role
The Senior Operations Specialist will support and improve Driver and Courier Operations by analyzing operational data and providing actionable insights. The role involves monitoring performance, identifying challenges, preparing reports and dashboards, and collaborating with drivers, couriers, and internal stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL, and the ability to communicate effectively with operational teams. A basic understanding of finance, customer behavior, purchasing power, and business operations is required. Experience in Driver/Courier Operations, Logistics, or Business Analysis is considered advantageous.
Must have
- 2 years of experience in Operations, Finance, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Management, IT, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of finance, customer behavior, purchasing power, and business operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with operational teams and translate data into actionable insights.
- Sinhala required to communicate effectively with drivers.
Nice to have
- English is an advantage.
- Experience in Driver/Courier Operations, Logistics, or Business Analysis will be an added advantage.
