Engineer - Networking - Managed Services
About the role
The Engineer - Networking - Managed Services role involves configuring, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise firewalls such as Fortinet FortiGate and Check Point, as well as implementing firewall policies, NAT rules, VPN tunnels, and security policies. The position also requires configuring and optimizing load balancers, supporting Linux-based hosting environments, monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting network and security issues. The engineer will perform routine security audits, maintain network documentation, participate in an after-hours on-call rotation, and ensure compliance with security standards. Candidates should have 1–2 years of relevant experience and hold certifications such as Fortinet NSE 4 and CCNA or equivalent.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Network Engineering, Network Security, or Systems Administration
- Required Certifications: Fortinet NSE 4 and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or an equivalent Routing & Switching certification (Mandatory)
- Proven experience administering and troubleshooting Fortinet FortiGate and Check Point firewalls
- Experience configuring and managing load balancers or Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs)
- Solid knowledge of Linux administration, including FTP servers, user permissions, and web hosting environments
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, VLAN, DNS, VPN technologies, Network security principles
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills

Highlights
