Engineer - Data Center Infrastructure
About the role
Oak Integrated Systems (Pvt) Ltd is seeking an experienced Engineer - Data Center Infrastructure to join their team. The role involves providing infrastructure support for major server platforms, supporting various operating systems, administering virtualization platforms, and managing enterprise server and storage infrastructure in data center environments. The engineer will also be responsible for monitoring operations, managing backup solutions, performing installations and updates, and participating in shift rotations to ensure 24x7x365 support. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience in enterprise data center environments and be adept at handling mission-critical systems.
Must have
- Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in an enterprise cata center environment.
- Proven experience supporting mission-critical systems operating 24x7x365
- Strong knowledge of enterprise servers. virtualization, storage and backup technologies
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
- Ability to manage high-pressure incidents and critical system outages. Strong documentation, reporting and communication skils
