Internship - IT (Infrastructure & Security)
About the role
This internship position in IT Infrastructure & Security at Union Assurance involves assisting with infrastructure, cloud, database, and security operations. Key responsibilities include monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, access control, and disaster recovery activities support. Candidates should be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, and possess a basic understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, and IT security fundamentals. The role is based at the head office and offers exposure to real-world IT operations.
Must have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), networking concepts, and IT security fundamentals
Nice to have
- Exposure to SQL and database concepts is a plus
