Senior Software Engineer-SDET
About the role
The Senior Software Engineer-SDET is responsible for delivering software products and components for ISA, focusing on technology expertise, design, development, deployment, and automated testing. The role involves collaborating with product teams, project managers, and IT solutions managers to translate business needs into technical implementations, ensuring alignment with architectural principles. Key responsibilities include reviewing technical documentation, identifying technical tools and languages, implementing best practices, and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, fluency in English, and at least 3 years of hands-on experience in software test automation within agile squads. Candidates should have strong proficiency in modern test automation frameworks, programming languages for automation, CI/CD pipelines, and a solid understanding of software architecture and related tools.
Must have
- Bachelors degree in IT Engineering,Computer Science,Information Technology or equivalent.
- Fluent in English Language.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software test automation, with proven delivery in agile squads.
- Strong proficiency in modern test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, RestAssured, or equivalent).
- Proficient in at least one programming language used for automation (Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Solid working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and quality gate design (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Good understanding of software architecture, APIs, microservices, and databases.
- Fluent in English Language.
- Able to analyze telemetry, flake data, and defect trends and translate them into actions.
- Exposure to performance testing, load testing, and non-functional testing.
- Working knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, or equivalent).
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and risk-assessment skills.
- Demonstrates ownership, coaches peers, and delivers consistently against squad KPIs.

- Travel, airline, or transactional/e-commerce platform experience is preferred.
