About the role
The IT Consultant at Milton International Campus will work full-time on-site in Kekirawa, Sri Lanka, supporting the campus's technology needs. The role involves assessing technology requirements, recommending and implementing IT solutions, and ensuring that systems support teaching, learning, and administrative operations. Key responsibilities include technical consulting, troubleshooting, maintaining network reliability, and collaborating with staff to optimize digital learning platforms and data security. Candidates should have strong IT consulting, technical support, and analytical skills, as well as relevant qualifications in IT or related fields. Experience in academic or training environments is considered an advantage.
Must have
- Candidates should possess strong IT Consulting and Consulting skills to assess needs, define solutions, and advise stakeholders on technology strategy.
- Candidates should possess solid Information Technology skills, including familiarity with networks, systems, and educational technology platforms.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to diagnose issues, interpret data, and optimize IT processes and infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess effective Technical Support skills, including troubleshooting, user support, and incident resolution.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and support diverse users.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain confidentiality and data security standards.
Nice to have
- Experience in academic or training environments, particularly with learning management systems and digital education tools, is an advantage.
