Senior Quality Engineer (Full Stack)
About the role
The Senior Quality Engineer (Full Stack) role involves designing and executing risk-based test scenarios, performing both manual and automated testing, and ensuring the quality of complex product workflows. The position requires building and maintaining UI and API automation frameworks, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and conducting performance and load testing. The engineer will also validate backend data integrity, lead cross-squad system integration testing, and champion clean code and shift-left quality practices. Candidates should have strong experience in both manual and automated QA, with proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools.
Must have
- 4+ years of total QA experience, demonstrating a strong balance between hands-on manual testing and test automation.
- Hands-on UI and API automation experience with practical coding proficiency in C#/.NET or Java, alongside TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience using automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Experience with REST/GraphQL API testing using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or native HTTP client libraries.
- Strong SQL and data testing skills, with proven ability to query relational databases and validate complex calculation engines, data transformations, and reporting outputs.
- Practical experience with Git and CI/CD pipeline integration using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Experience with Jira-based test management tools such as Xray, Zephyr, or TestRail.
- Hands-on experience executing end-to-end SIT cycles across squad boundaries, validating shared APIs and data flows, and driving defect triage directly with engineers.
