About the role
X-venture is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team focused on developing their flagship product, Xapi, which delivers unified governance for APIs, data, and AI to global clients. The role involves working with cloud-native systems, implementing Agile and DevOps practices, and ensuring secure application development. Key responsibilities include managing AWS cloud infrastructure, working with container ecosystems like Kubernetes, scripting and automation, CI/CD deployment, and infrastructure as code.
Must have
- 2-3 years as a DevOps Engineer in the software engineering field.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven commercial development experience with AWS Cloud Development and working knowledge in IAM, Route53, VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, ELB, EKS, ECR,
- CloudWatch, CloudFront, mongoDB Atlas, WAF, SQS, SNS.
- Deep knowledge of the software container ecosystem; Kubernetes.
- Good scripting, coding, and a passion for automation in Python, Node.js, Java, Shell.
- Experience in Continuous Integration/ Continuous CI/CD deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitHub actions.
- Strong knowledge of Java reactive programming using frameworks such as Spring WebFlux.
- Experience in Linux system admin, GIT revision control and SSO using Active Directory.
- Good knowledge of Azure and Azure DevOps
- Good knowledge in networking and security.
- Experience with infrastructure as code with Terraform.
