Head of Information Technology
About the role
The Head of Information Technology at HBL Sri Lanka is responsible for leading the bank's technology strategy, IT operations, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and technology governance initiatives. The role involves ensuring the availability, security, resilience, and efficiency of the bank's technology environment, driving innovation and process automation, overseeing IT governance, risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery frameworks, managing technology vendors and regulatory compliance, and partnering with business and Group IT functions to deliver technology-enabled growth and operational excellence.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10 years of progressive Information Technology experience, including significant senior leadership experience within the banking or financial services sector.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications in IT Governance, Cybersecurity, Project Management, and Risk Management are preferred.
