Senior Risk Analyst - Independence Assurance Support
About the role
The Senior Risk Analyst - Independence Assurance Support at EY is responsible for executing globally defined processes in accordance with EY Global Independence policies, supporting the firm's role as an independent auditor. The position involves performing procedures, conducting secondary research and analysis, updating internal tools and databases, and communicating with audit teams to resolve queries and gather information. The role requires developing expertise in independence processes, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with global stakeholders to strengthen compliance frameworks. Candidates should have a master's or postgraduate degree (preferably in Finance), 3-5 years of experience in secondary research and analysis within a professional services firm, and strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Must have
- Masters/post-graduate degree (preferably in Finance) from a reputed institute.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in secondary research and analysis in a professional services firm.
- Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both verbal and written) skills in English
- Basic understanding of type of company structures, Ownership structures, awareness of auditor Independence and basic risk management concepts.
- Experience in MS office suites like Microsoft 365, MS excel, PowerPoint
Nice to have
- Candidates with exposure of handing client interaction would be preferred.
