Enterprise Resources Planning Specialist
About the role
The Enterprise Resources Planning Specialist will analyze business requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions for a leading food and beverages manufacturing and exporting group. The role involves enhancing and optimizing the ERP system, particularly Odoo, to support various operations such as tea auction purchasing, manufacturing, value-added processing, bulk export, and retail. The specialist will work closely with multiple teams to streamline workflows, configure and support Odoo modules, gather user requirements, coordinate with technical teams, support testing and training, and provide post-implementation support.
Must have
- Degree / Diploma in IT, Business Information Systems, Management, ERP or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP implementation and/or enhancement.
- Hands-on experience in Odoo ERP implementation, enhancement and functional support.
- Strong understanding of business processes, particularly procurement, inventory, manufacturing, finance, warehousing and sales.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with tea industry-related businesses is strongly preferred.
- Specific experience in bulk tea export, value-added tea processing and retail distribution will be an advantage.
- Experience with Odoo 18.
- Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain and warehouse operations.
- Experience in business process improvement and re-engineering.

Highlights
The position is based in Orugodawatte and offers a negotiable salary in the range of 300,000 to 400,000. Experience in the tea industry, especially in bulk tea export, value-added processing, and retail distribution, is strongly preferred or advantageous.
