About the role
A textile company in Battaramulla is looking for an IT Assistant to support its operations. The role involves managing and troubleshooting POS systems, performing routine maintenance and basic repairs on computers and IT equipment, providing technical support to staff, and handling basic networking tasks such as LAN and Wi-Fi configurations. Candidates with a foundational qualification in IT or a related field and previous experience in a similar role will have an advantage. Must have
- A foundational qualification in IT or a related field, along with previous experience in a similar role, will be considered a distinct advantage
- Hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking, including LAN and Wi-Fi configurations.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on computers and other IT equipment.
- Providing reliable technical assistance and support to the in-house staff.
