Associate Security Analyst
About the role
Codimite is seeking an Associate Security Analyst to help strengthen its security and compliance practices for scalable and secure software delivery. The role involves supporting governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, maintaining security across cloud, on-prem, and SaaS environments, and contributing to daily security operations. Key responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, supporting compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR), reviewing security policies, managing incident registers, conducting access reviews, assisting with audits, handling security questionnaires, and supporting security awareness initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in IT, security, or compliance, a solid understanding of security fundamentals, and familiarity with cloud environments and compliance frameworks. Must have
- 1–2 years of experience in IT / Security / Compliance (or relevant internship experience)
- Basic knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals (CIA triad, access control)
- Familiarity with IAM concepts
- Understanding of risk, compliance, and security policies
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar frameworks
