Associate Project Manager
About the role
Data Capture Experts (DCE) is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join their product engineering team in Colombo. The role involves collaborating with Australian clients and internal development teams to ensure project milestones are achieved and deliverables meet high standards. The Associate Project Manager will work under senior project management guidance, provide administrative support, and contribute to project planning and execution. Key responsibilities include project planning, resource coordination, schedule management, risk monitoring, team leadership, conflict resolution, and facilitating effective communication across teams. The company develops DC2Vue, a connected care platform for multidisciplinary healthcare providers in Australia.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience as a Junior Project Manager/ Project Coordinator in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with software development processes and lifecycle.
- Experience with issue-tracking and project management tools such as JIRA.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Creative problem solver with a learning mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have
- Having PMP/ CSM/ PMI-ACP/ PRINCE2 Certification(s) will be an added advantage.
- Prior working experience in the healthcare domain would be an added advantage.
