WordPress Web Developer
About the role
The WordPress Web Developer role at Ignite Media Vision involves building and maintaining responsive WordPress websites and landing pages. Key responsibilities include turning design briefs into user-friendly web experiences, customizing themes, plugins, and website functionality, improving website speed, SEO foundations, and security, as well as troubleshooting issues and managing updates, backups, and migrations. Candidates should have hands-on WordPress experience with a portfolio of live websites, proficiency in Elementor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, a strong understanding of responsive design and UI/UX, familiarity with hosting, domains, DNS, and SSL, and attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Experience with WooCommerce and third-party integrations is considered a plus.
Must have
- Hands-on WordPress experience with a portfolio of live websites.
- Proficiency in Elementor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and UI/UX.
- Familiarity with hosting, domains, DNS and SSL.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Nice to have
- WooCommerce and third-party integrations experience is a plus.
