.NET Technical Lead
About the role
The .NET Technical Lead at Aventude is responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of .NET-based applications in a full-time, on-site role in Sri Lanka. The position involves guiding a development team, conducting code reviews, providing technical mentorship, and enforcing best practices in software engineering. The role also includes collaborating with stakeholders to refine requirements, creating technical designs, troubleshooting complex issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time. Staying current with emerging technologies and contributing to architectural decisions are also key aspects of the job.
Must have
- Strong proficiency in .NET technologies (e.g., .NET Core, ASP.NET), C#, and related frameworks.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern libraries or frameworks.
- Solid understanding of databases and data management (e.g., SQL Server, ORM tools, query optimization).
- Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and principles of clean, modular code.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and automated testing.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and coordinate technical work.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to document technical solutions clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
