Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager - Cyber Security Operations
About the role
The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join their team as Assistant Manager or Senior Assistant Manager - Cyber Security Operations. The role involves leading and overseeing cyber security operations, including managing the Security Operations Centre (SOC), endpoint security, and incident response. Key responsibilities include planning and enhancing cyber security controls, conducting risk assessments, managing vulnerability assessments, handling security incidents, and evaluating emerging cyber security technologies. The position requires strong technical expertise and a commitment to protecting critical information assets within a technology-intensive environment.
Must have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
- A minimum of five (05) years’ experience in information security operations within a technology-intensive environment such as Financial Services, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a similar industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of firewall technologies, vulnerability management, penetration testing, endpoint security, and cyber security operations.
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage security incidents.
- A proactive mindset, high level of integrity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications such as CESH, CISCP, CISSP, CISM, or other recognised cyber security certifications (preferred).
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks will be an added advantage.
