Senior Engineer, Strategic Data Solutions
About the role
Circles is seeking a Senior Engineer, Strategic Data Solutions to work with end customers and internal teams to deliver data warehousing, business reporting, and analytics solutions. The role involves collaborating with business units across geographies to understand analytics needs, developing action plans, and delivering high-quality reports and analysis. The position requires hands-on work with advanced SQL, data warehouse architectures (cloud and on-prem), and data visualization tools, as well as exposure to Python and potentially AI/ML. Must have
- At least 6-10 Years’ of Experience working in a similar role
- Hands on with advanced SQL
- Knowledge of Data warehouse architectures for both cloud and On prem
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Looker Tableau or Looker
- Exposure to Python
- Ability to write DAGs and knowledge of Spark
- Highly adaptable problem solver with a positive can-do attitude!
Nice to have
- Exposure to AI and ML is a plus
- Hands-on experience with agile development management tools (e.g. Trello, Asana, Jira) is a plus
- Experience working in a Regional setting and liaising with stakeholders in a regional setting is a plus.
