Senior Forward Deployed Engineer
About the role
Effectz.AI is seeking a hands-on Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with enterprise customers, focusing on understanding complex finance, trade, and logistics workflows. The role involves owning customer deployments from discovery and solution design through implementation, UAT, and production, as well as building AI, workflow automation, and RPA solutions. Key responsibilities include integrating E-Flow with enterprise and government systems, monitoring production workflows, and turning customer-specific learning into reusable components. The position is based in Colombo and offers a hybrid work model with client-site work. Effectz.AI specializes in enterprise-grade AI automation for complex operations.
Must have
- 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building production systems or automation.
- Strong programming fundamentals and experience with APIs, databases and backend or integration work.
- Experience with AI/LLM applications, workflow automation, RPA or browser automation.
- Ability to understand messy business processes and turn them into reliable technical solutions.
- Comfortable working directly with enterprise customers, including discovery, UAT and production support.
- Strong ownership, communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-moving environment.

- Exposure to UiPath, Power Platform, SAP, IFS, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, enterprise integrations, finance operations, shipping, freight forwarding or trade operations.
