Commercial Business Analyst
About the role
The Commercial Business Analyst at Rockland Distilleries (Pvt) Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Colombo. The role combines operational oversight with strategic business analysis to enhance data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include analyzing business performance data, improving operational workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance through collaboration with government agencies, coordinating logistics and supply chain activities, managing reporting dashboards, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and leading process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dynamic, and comfortable working with both internal teams and external regulatory bodies.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, operations, or supply chain roles.
- Strong proficiency in data analytics, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Excellent interpersonal and project coordination skills.
- Experience working with government regulatory bodies (Customs, Excise, etc.).
Nice to have
- Experience in a multinational organization preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP and Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools is an advantage.
- Exposure to the beverage/alcohol import and distribution sector is a plus.
