IT Assistant (Contract Basis)
About the role
The IT Assistant (Outsourced) position is with a leading banking company located in Colombo. The role involves providing day-to-day IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, installing and maintaining IT equipment, assisting with user account management, and ensuring compliance with IT security policies. Candidates are expected to have a diploma or higher diploma in IT or a related field, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and networking basics. Must have
- Diploma or Higher Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, computer hardware, and software troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networking, LAN, Wi-Fi, and TCP/IP.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
