About the role
The Junior QA Engineer will be responsible for performing manual and automated testing to ensure software systems meet quality standards. The role involves conducting various types of testing such as API, regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing. The engineer will develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright, document software defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. Candidates should have a strong understanding of QA principles, programming skills in Java and Python, familiarity with Selenium and Playwright, and a keen interest in AI-driven software testing.
Must have
- Strong understanding of QA principles and manual testing methodologies.
- Programming skills in Java and Python.
- Familiarity with Selenium and Playwright.
- Basic understanding of SQL and database validation.
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control.
- Strong interest in AI, LLMs, and AI-driven software testing.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
