System Engineering Intern
About the role
The System Engineering Intern at Antler Foundry Private Limited will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure for the company's diverse client base. This full-time, on-site internship in Colombo involves supporting system setup, configuration, and monitoring, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and contributing to system administration and documentation. The intern will work closely with senior engineers and the technical support team, gaining hands-on experience in a multi-industry environment and exposure to best practices in security, backup, and performance optimization. Candidates should have foundational knowledge in systems engineering, infrastructure design, and technical support, with strong analytical and communication skills.
Must have
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Systems Engineering and Infrastructure Design.
- Candidates should completed IT/ Computer Science and related field
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Candidates should possess basic System Administration skills, including configuration, user management, and monitoring.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux), networking fundamentals, and common IT tools.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Candidates should possess effective communication abilities and the capacity to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
- Interest in learning new technologies, commitment to professional growth, and ability to work on-site in Colombo are required.
Nice to have
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
